Getting business back in shape doesn’t happen by accident. It takes experience and a tried and tested system that can be deployed quickly and with total confidence. When disaster strikes, C&D Constructionss take control of the emergency, manages and provides progress reports at every stage of the project.
Prompt remediation after a disaster will ensure huge savings, plus it will also ensure that your company gets priority in times of community disasters!
To find out more about your C&D Restorations Response Plan please call Melissa Conroy on 9540 5300 or emailSafety Comes First! Varied site conditions and procedures require different classes of protective clothing/ equipment (PPE) and these must be worn at all times to ensure staff do not get sick from the toxic environment in which they are working in. Examples of typical PPE used on Disaster sites are Tyvek Suits, Dust Masks, Safety Gloves & Safety Glasses.
Cleaning products must be diluted in compliance with manufacturing instructions and are not to be used for any other remediation process other than specified by the manufacturer. If you have ever wondered why PPE is so important take a look at the pictures below of a typical fire job site.
In severely water damaged
buildings, a thermal hygrometer
is used to monitor temperature
and relative humidity. This allows
the water damage technician to
monitor the amount of moisture
in the air and adjust drying
equipment accordingly. This
practice is called “psychometry”.
Sensitive moisture meters
detect trapped and hidden
moisture in and below the
surface of building materials.
Hidden and trapped
moisture, if not discovered
and promptly dried, is what
causes most of the damage
in a water damaged building.
